Wayne Exton
Chief Executive Officer
Wayne Exton serves as the President & CEO for Unitech Aerospace. He is responsible for maximizing the global enterprise's performance through driving growth, generating revenues, capturing market share, improving profitability and enhancing shareholder value.
Joining the company in 2015, Exton brings over 25 years of executive leadership, strategy development, operations management and mergers and acquisition experience. As the former Group Vice President and Company Officer of B/E Aerospace's Business Jet Group, Exton successfully grew revenues from $147M in 2005 to $750M in 2015. The company grew from 4 operating businesses employing 630 people to 15 operating businesses and over 4,000 employees during the same time period. Additionally, Exton developed offshore manufacturing and engineering facilities in Mexico and India that were key components to cost reduction strategies. Prior to this, he served as President & CEO of Heath Tecna, a Bellingham, Washington, private equity owned business providing interior components and engineering services for the commercial aircraft interiors market. During his tenure from 2002-2005, the business evolved from a single site, $27M enterprise employing 163 people to a $108M highly profitable business with over 700 employees and 3 manufacturing locations in the USA, UK and Australia. Exton has also held senior leadership positions with Britax Automotive Components in Detroit, MI and Magneti Marelli in Italy.
Mr. Exton resides in Miami, Florida, and since 2006 has served on the boards of both the South Florida Manufacturers Association and the General Aviation Manufactures Association (GAMA). He holds a degree in Physics and is both a UK and US citizen.
