Unitech Composites agreed today with Tamarack Aerospace to produce the composite content on their revolutionary Active Winglets for the Cessna Citation Jet Series Aircraft today at the 2017 Paris Air Show.
Unitech Composites welcomed Idaho Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter to its facility in Hayden, Idaho earlier this month. During the visit, the Governor toured the 84,000 square foot manufacturing facility and had the opportunity to experience some of the company’s new state-of-the-art technology.
Tods Aerospace has completed an 18 month project to develop lightweight damage resistant composite fuel pipe assemblies that by virtue of their tightly controlled electrical properties can be used safely in composite aircraft fuel tanks. The project was part funded by the UK National Aerospace Technology Exploitation Programme (NATEP) and supported by Airbus Operations Ltd. The contributing partners were Technical Fibre Products (TFP), Element Materials Technology and ENL Ltd.
Unitech Composites received contract extention from Rockwell Collins for the 10th and 11th low-rate initial production (LRIP) batch of the 3rd Generation Lightweight Binocular Optical Support Structure (BOSS). This contract will extend production into 2020 and will contribute to the estimated 7,500 BOSS required to support the F-35 Lightning II program.
Paul Fabrications, a Unitech Aerospace company and leading supplier of fabricated and precision machined components to the aerospace and nuclear industries, has received the 2016 Rolls-Royce Fabrications Supplier of the Year award. Paul Fabrications received this award for their innovative and collaborative approach on a multi-million pound supply chain partnership.
AGC AeroComposites, a global supplier of composite and metallic aerostructures, assemblies and components to the aerospace and defense industry, announced today that it has rebranded as Unitech Aerospace.
AGC AeroComposites will be exhibiting with the Companies of North Coast (North Coast Tool and Mold Corporation and North Coast Composites) at the Composites and Advanced Materials Expo (CAMX) in Anaheim, Calif. on September 27 – 29. AGC acquired the Companies of North Coast in July.

The National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (Nadcap) is an industry-managed global effort to improve quality and efficiency in the aerospace and defence industries.
Mark Tattershall has been named Vice President of Sales and Marketing for AGC AeroComposites. In his new role, Tattershall will be responsible for all North America account management, business development and marketing strategies. He will also be instrumental in integrating the company’s most recent acquisitions; North Coast Composites and North Coast Tooling and Mold Corporation.
